The Logistics M&A Market: January – May 2025
My first report for subscribers is out - The Logistics M&A Market: January – May 2025
A brief introduction:
The global M&A market in 2025 is navigating through a storm of uncertainty. From geopolitical tensions and tariff wars to inflation and tightening financial conditions, dealmakers face a volatile environment that is testing the resilience of even the most sophisticated acquirers. Yet, amid caution and complexity, opportunities persist for those who are agile and strategically prepared.
Supply chains, in particular, have become a focal point. Companies are reassessing manufacturing locations and sourcing strategies to mitigate risk from geopolitical threats. National security concerns are also influencing M&A decisions, particularly around the location of critical assets and the reliability of trade routes.
Report Overview:
The report (12 pages) includes brief write-ups on the freight forwarding, transportation, freight brokers and warehousing services (cold chain and e-fulfillment) markets. Also included are listing of North American acquisitions for each logistics service. A list of sources is also included at the end of the report.
Why am I charging for the report?
It took a while to pull it all together, that’s all. For the cost of an annual Substack subscription ($120), I’ll be happy to send a copy to you. You’ll also receive other upcoming reports such as the parcel/last mile market report.
Thanks!
- Cathy
